Sasha Rudensky

Sasha Rudensky studied Studio Art and Russian Literature at Wesleyan University where she received a BA in 2001. She received her MFA in photography from the Yale School of Art in 2008. She was the recipient of of the Ward Cheney Memorial Award from Yale University in 2008, Mortimer Hays Brandeis Traveling Fellowship in 2004-2005, and Leica Award and the Jessup Prize in 2001. Her work has been shown at Danziger Projects, New York; Gallery 339 in Philadelphia; Gallery on Old Bailey, Hong Kong, China; Rooke Gallery, Johannesburg, South Africa; Affirmation Arts, New York; Zilkha Gallery, Middletown, CT and others. This summer she was included in “reGeneration 2: Photographers of Tomorrow Today” at the Musée de l’Élysée in Lausanne, Switzerland. Sasha Rudensky is currently teaching at Yale University and Wesleyan University.
