Mark Roeder (b. 1974, Whittier, CA) received his B.F.A. from Otis College of Art and Design in photography in 2000. His works often deal with influences and traces of minimalist and conceptual practice in ways that evince absurdity within critical sobriety and fancifulness within austerity.
